Mark your ð for CopyTalk! Join us and @smcclesk on November 1 at 2pm EST for the âAcademic Libraries Video Trust: Crowdsourcing Copyright, Digitization, and Accessâ webinar, hosted on Zoom: ala-events.zoom.us/j/601605523 #ALVT
I hope some of you can attend. The advisory board has made some changes to the membership agreement and fee structure after listening to feedback from potential member libraries.
We have developed an opportunity for consortia to join with very favorable terms. ALVT has support from several Founding Benefactor Libraries and interest is growing.
Attend the webinar and consider joining this community of librarians eager to collaborate to leverage their section 108 rights, employing crowdsourcing for digitization and due diligence documentation.
Hope to âseeâ you next Thursday November 1 at 2 pm EST.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
