Good morning, videolib!

I am participating in a research project studying usage of patron-driven
acquisition and its impacts on existing long-term collection development
practices in academic libraries.

My group and I have designed a short, 5 minute survey to collect
information on current collection development practices and librarians'
opinions of PDA. All responses are anonymous. We would be so grateful if
you could share your thoughts on the topic:

We are interested in hearing from librarians who have chosen to implement
PDA, as well as librarians who have not implemented PDA.

I'm hoping that after our fantastic meeting yesterday, everyone will be
eager to share their thoughts on PDA! :)

Thank you for your time,
Jenifer Carter

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry I forgot to clarify before-- this survey is being conducted as
part of my coursework through my graduate school program at University of
Washington. This is completely independent of UC Berkeley or FMRT!

I apologize for any confusion I caused! In my haste to get this sent out I
skipped over that key detail. I think it's time for me to grab another cup
of coffee! ☕

Thanks again, everyone :)
