Hi again,

Still hunting for An American Experience: Radio Priest.

I’ve checked PBS (discontinued), WGBH (which claims copyright; they looped me back to PBS), Amazon (VHS “currently unavailable”), and Alexander Street Press’s film finder service (no response yet).

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Barbara

Hi everyone,

First time asking a question!

Does anyone have a source for the PBS film, The Radio Priest? I can only find it in VHS from 1989.

Thanks in advance,
Barbara

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.

Hi Barbara,

You could try contacting the Open Vault project of WGBH here:
http://openvault.wgbh.org/catalog/V_097375599D584DFB8F5CBFE4CCF7E19F

From my understanding of how Open Vault works (not having used it myself),
there's an initial charge for legal research to see if the program can be
digitized. If it can, there is then an additional charge for the
digitization, but the program would then be made freely available online.

Subject: [videolib] RE: Radio Priest (again)

Hi again,

Still hunting for An American Experience: Radio Priest.

I’ve checked PBS (discontinued), WGBH (which claims copyright; they looped me back to PBS), Amazon (VHS “currently unavailable”), and Alexander Street Press’s film finder service (no response yet).

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Barbara

Subject: [videolib] The Radio Priest?

Hi everyone,

First time asking a question!

Does anyone have a source for the PBS film, The Radio Priest? I can only find it in VHS from 1989.

Thanks in advance,

Barbara
